1. Who this covers
tg2drive is a private automation operated by Akhil Sabu (the "operator") in New Zealand. It has exactly one user: the operator. It is not offered to the public and does not collect information about visitors beyond what is described in section 9. This policy explains what information tg2drive accesses, why, and how it is protected.
2. What tg2drive does
When the operator forwards a file to their own Telegram Saved Messages, tg2drive copies that file into a folder in the operator's own Google Drive. Everything it handles belongs to the operator.
3. Information accessed

4. How Google user data is used
tg2drive uses its Google Drive access for one purpose: to upload the operator's files into the operator's Google Drive folder and to confirm those uploads completed correctly (by comparing size and checksum). It does not read other Drive content, does not use Google user data for advertising, analytics or profiling, does not sell it, and does not transfer it to anyone else.
tg2drive's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. What is stored, and for how long
File contents are streamed from Telegram to Google Drive through the program's memory in small pieces and are never written to the server's disk, temporary files or logs.

6. Sharing
tg2drive shares no information with third parties. The only parties that process data are those needed to perform the copy: Telegram (the source), Google (the destination) and DigitalOcean, which hosts the operator's server in Sydney, Australia. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
7. Security
- Credentials are stored encrypted on the server and are not placed in source code, configuration files or logs.
- The program runs as an unprivileged, sandboxed background service with no public network interface.
- Before every upload it checks that the destination folder is the intended one and is not publicly shared; if this cannot be confirmed, nothing is uploaded.
- All communication with Telegram and Google uses encrypted connections.
8. Revoking access
- Google Drive: remove tg2drive at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Files already copied remain in the operator's Google Drive under the operator's control.
- Telegram: end the "tg2drive (server)" session under Settings → Devices.
9. This website
This website consists of static pages only. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts, uses no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. The web server keeps standard access logs (visitor IP address, requested page, browser identification) for security and troubleshooting; they are deleted automatically after 14 days.
